You may hear a small “click” or “pop” during some techniques – this is simply gas being released from the joint (similar to when you crack your knuckles) and is completely normal. It’s not painful, and many people describe the sensation as feeling like pressure being released.
What You Might Feel Afterwards
It’s normal to feel a little mild soreness or stiffness after your first few treatments – similar to how you might feel after starting a new exercise routine. This is simply your body adjusting to improved movement and posture.
Any mild discomfort usually settles within 24-48 hours, and your chiropractor Laura will give you advice on gentle stretches or aftercare to help. Most patients report feeling lighter, looser, and more comfortable after treatment.
