What are you grateful for?

Research shows that when you are being thankful and grateful, you will reduce the amount of negative thoughts and feelings you experience. This can help change your thoughts from negative ones to positive ones. How awesome is that? As you can imagine, this can help you with your mental health. There is also research discussing how this can help you become more successful in life. Who doesn’t want that? So how can you practice gratitude? It is as simple as thinking about what you are thankful for. Here are some examples:

  • I am grateful for a good night sleep
  • I am grateful that the sun is shining
  • I am grateful that I saw (or will see) my friends or family
  • I am grateful that I went for a run this morning
