What If Treatment Isn't Helping?

Our Approach to Ensuring You Get the Right Care

At our clinic, our goal is to help you feel better, move more freely, and get back to doing the things you enjoy. Most patients notice positive changes after their chiropractic treatments – such as reduced pain, easier movement, or improved posture. However, everyone’s body responds differently, and sometimes progress can take a little longer.

If you’re not noticing the improvement we’d expect, we’ll always review your care plan and look at the next best steps together.

Regular Progress Reviews

Your chiropractor will continually assess how you’re responding to treatment.
We track your symptoms, movement, and general wellbeing to make sure your care is on the right track.

If progress is slower than expected, we’ll:

  • Review your current treatment plan
  • Adjust the frequency or type of care
  • Reassess your posture, lifestyle, or contributing factors
  • Discuss other supportive options such as exercise, ergonomic changes, or stretching routines

Our aim is to find what works best for you – safely and effectively.

Working With Other Healthcare Professionals

If we feel that chiropractic care alone isn’t giving you the results you need, we’ll refer you back to your GP or suggest the most appropriate specialist for further investigation.

This could include imaging (like X-rays or MRI scans) or referral to another healthcare provider, such as a physiotherapist, sports therapist, or pain management specialist.

We believe in collaborative, patient-centred care, and we’ll always be honest about what’s best for your health.

Your Health Comes First

Chiropractic care is designed to work with your body – not against it. Most people respond very well, but if things aren’t improving as expected, rest assured that we’ll do everything we can to find the right approach for you.

Your comfort, confidence, and progress are our top priorities.
